yeah that was pretty funny. I only listened on the radio but Tech looked like crap. Definitely not like #12. Though the final score might keep us up there (since the voters probably don't give a shit and won't actually look into the game, just at the final).

Went to the Arizona game, they looked good but it was against Idaho. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

I went to the UT game. They looked REALLY good, granted it was against Florida Atlantic. Their secondary blows though

techs problem was that they looked like the game didn't matter. When they played hard they were kicking ass, but then they got lazy and thats how ewu got into the game.
Our D looks much improved and I think we have the best receiver core we have ever had. Our biggest weakness is our special teams. |

Were you at the game? I wasn't there so I probably didn't see the big picture, but sounded like special teams did pretty awesome. Didn't they get a couple of good returns, as well as a blocked FG attempt?

Were you at the game? I wasn't there so I probably didn't see the big picture, but sounded like special teams did pretty awesome. Didn't they get a couple of good returns, as well as a blocked FG attempt? Yeah, a blocked field EWU field goal. Also missed two of our own FG attempts, as well as an extra point. The announcers commented on how some of the FG/extra point kicks barely made it over the heads of the players, making it easy to see how we missed so many. Here's my question: was it a surprise that Trlica would be leaving after last season? That he would be graduating and not coming back to suit up this fall? That's what it seems like to me, because they had a whole year (if not more) to prep this kicker, and he turned out to be crap. I know some of it could be attributed to nerves as it's his first live game scenario, but it just seems like two weeks ago they went "oh yeah, guess we better find a kicker" -------------------- Forget regret

So Nevada had 426 yds rushing last week. Granted, it was Grambling State, but still, could be a good test for our defense.
