I don't see it making much difference. Not any more than Bush or Clinton's daughters doing stupid shit. If anything (sadly enough) I bet that'll just help her even more to relate to average American.

Where does she say she doesn't support birth control? I don't really care about people's personal choices, birth control and condoms are both out there and are not going way. Does that mean we should hand them out? I don't think so. I think we can teach safe sex and abstinence at the same time. Just end the conversation with a "remember, if you really want to avoid STDs, pregnancy, etc. just keep your pants on". -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

this psycho bitch doesn't support condoms or birth control, even between married couples. http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages...1837538,00.html QUOTE She is Christian and pro-life, but also a supporter of birth control: she's a member of Feminists For Life (FFL), an anti-abortion, pro-contraception organization. Sorry, try again Einstein. "Psycho bitch"... haha yeah not so much. mccain sure knows how to pick 'em. ha! this should be a cake walk... you just keep telling yourself that |

that sure worked for her daughter That's the thing, I don't think either really work. Teenagers and people in general will make choices that go against the grain. People make mistakes and some people make the mistakes into a good thing. You look at cities that teach "safe-sex" only and they don't have any better of a record than the ones who teach abstinence only. It's 6" one way and half-a-foot the other. My mother had me out of wedlock and my dad up and left her. She was raised by a pastor! But you know what, she took care of me on her own and I think I turned out alright. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages...1837538,00.html Sorry, try again Einstein. "Psycho bitch"... haha yeah not so much. you just keep telling yourself that I can't actually find good info one way or the other on her contraception stance. That Time article is incorrect - FFL holds no stance on contraception. http://www.feministsforlife.org/FAQ/index.htm#contraception -------------------- |

sorry, birth control pills and condoms
http://politicalwire.com/archives/2008/08/..._pick_ever.html QUOTE opposes the use of birth control pills and condoms even among married couples ...and then this whole rumor thing about her covering up her daughter's previous pregnancy by claiming that the child (her most recent) is her own. http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-69834 it's usually the ones with the crazy evangelical christian beliefs that seem to have the most problems. it's almost laughable. -------------------- Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty.

lol ok... "Taegan Goddard's Political Wire" is where I go to get all my candidate news! ...and then this whole rumor thing about her covering up her daughter's previous pregnancy by claiming that the child (her most recent) is her own. http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-69834 Oh my God no way, a rumor about a political candidate's personal life! Say it aint so! Tell me, since you seem to think you're making some invaluable points, how does any of this affect her abilities in her job? This is absolutely pathetic how the democrats (including yourself) are scattered on the floor like dogs sniffing around for anything you can find on this woman. You know what it proves? That she was the perfect person for McCain to pick. If the left didn't think she was a great pick, they wouldn't care to have spent their 24-7 since he picked her trying to dig up dirt. it's usually the ones with the crazy evangelical christian beliefs that seem to have the most problems. it's almost laughable. What a stupid thing to say. Yeah that's a stone cold fact right there Though I must admit defeat, I found a democrat who has made such a convincing speech, I will now switch my vote to Obama: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ow8_pCPfhDk |

I can't actually find good info one way or the other on her contraception stance. That Time article is incorrect - FFL holds no stance on contraception. http://www.feministsforlife.org/FAQ/index.htm#contraception Good catch. I did find this: http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Sarah_Palin_Abortion.htm QUOTE Palin said last month that no woman should have to choose between her career, education and her child. She is pro-contraception and said she's a member of a pro-woman but anti-abortion group called Feminists for Life. "I believe in the strength and the power of women, and the potential of every human life," she said. Source: Anchorage Daily News, "Little play," by K. Hopkins Aug 6, 2006

Haha no. The mud slinging yes, the obsessive way the democrats go about it is not reflected in the republican party. thanks. my sides hurt now. So the Republicans weren't obsessed with mudslinging during the Clinton administration? When Kerry was running in '04? Take the blinders off for 2 seconds and see that Republicans are still politicians and act as such... -------------------- |
