you're not going to find anywhere decently priced by downtown, and you're going to have to live at least an hour away to find decent priced housing

you my friend are screwed big time, i would find another job if they're forcing you to work downtown

haha... nah i looked at a few places around what some have said so far, and they're not too bad. more expensive than lubbock yes, but everywhere is more expensive than lubbock for housing.

what kind of prices are you finding, just curious

i know what stuff is going for in the richardson, addison, plano, allen area so you can compare to downtown if you want

oh I dunno about living in downtown... I'd prob go for somewhere more outside the loop (yeah the commute will suck ass). I saw stuff like plano & richardson, 2BR apts for $750-1000/mo.

and there's always the possibility of buying a home, it's always better to buy than to rent, plus you can use your home as a tax shelter and keep buying more and more expensive homes as an investment

damn, i just got a 1 bedroom in Austin for $618 which sucks cuz im used to paying $370 including internet and cable. Guess i wont be having cable for a while. I can live without tv. sooo expensive sad.gif
