Plug the bottom. Put a CCW Ball perfectly on the left wall, put a CW Ball perfectly on the right wall, connect the two with a perfectly horizontal wooden rod. Hit start. You can let the little ball fall onto the platform.

The tube took me forever because I did it without realizing the bottom of the tube had that little edge sticking off of it. The way I did it didn't use that edge. I did two opposite facing wheels like brandon did, but then I used two opposite ones underneath those which pushed against a pair of wooden bars which in effect jammed the first two wheels against the walls. worked great.
