Picked up Soul Caliber IV a few days ago ..
I had the original Soul Caliber on my Dreamcast in about 2000 .... I remember that game as being much faster and more fluent than the one I am currently playin, however ... I think Ninja Gaiden II might have spoiled me on games like this. Soul Caliber IV seems to be in slow motion when compared to Ninja Gaiden II ... You basically have to do everything in Ninja Gaiden II you do in Soul Caliber but twice as fast, and the control is much quicker to respond ... Soul Caliber IV is fun, but I don't really think it's worth $60 ... I'd wait and pick up a used copy. I've been playing it through, I haven't managed to unlock Vader yet, but I guess this whole thing is something I find absoultley retarded about this game.. All of a sudden, Yoda, Anakin, and Vader are all in this game? What the fuck? I mean seriously, of all the characters from different movies and places they could have put in here, the fucking put a bunch of Star Wars shit in here? Don't we have enough faggot ass Star Wars shit EVERYWHERE ELSE???? I dunno, It's got a lot of shit to unlock and on the "Hard" difficulty it's a pretty tough game, but I guess I don't think it's as good as the older Soul Caliber games are. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

The 360 version doesn't have Vader. It has Yoda and "The Apprentice".

Comparing Ninja Gaiden and Soul Caliber is like comparing shit and piss... sure, they're both body waste but they're entirely different thing.
A fighting game compared to an action game? Schwa? I'm sure SCIV is a good game, especially if you compare it to other next gen fighers (all... two of them? Virtua Fighter and Tekken?) -------------------- ![]() |

SCIV would be fun to play against real live people, but the mission battles get so rediculously hard I'm kind of done with them right now.
If I had any friends this game would be more fun hahaha. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!
