Ten year old girl is acting up on a school bus, is handcuffed by a police officer, and now the mom is suing for a million dollars because her daughter "can't ever look and a police officer the same again and is scared of them."

Kid probably deserved it. Now, the 5 year old they talk about at the end of the video... I don't know about that one. Fiver years old and they can't think of another way to deescalate the situation besides handcuffing the kid to a chair? That's kind of strange.

Thoughts on handcuffing young children?

Yes. Cuff em.

The only way you can restrain the little retards without someone getting bit/kicked.

more black people looking for a handout by using ambulance chasing lawyers to short circuit the legal system...

Also see the story about the rich woman who reportedly shoved or slapped or something a flight attendant on an airplane. No bruising or harm or anything, but the lady was fined $3000...

the flight attendant? claiming that because of the anxiety SHE GOT HEMORRHOIDS (not making this up)and is suing for TEN PERCENT of the womans net worth (she is somehow famous or connected in some way, she and her husband have a lot of money).

Bullshit.

edit: haha. I found the story by googling "flight attendant suing hemorrhoids" The woman was Victoria Osteen and her husband is allegedly a famous pastor somewhere and she reportedly "elbowed the flight attendant in the breast".

Wow...

yeah she's the wife of Joel Osteen, the megachurch preacher from down here. it's been big news down here. and supposedly the defense lawyer (rusty hardin) has already gotten the plaintiff's key witness to admit that victoria osteen was perfectly calm the whole time. f'n lawyers...

Osteen case is over. Took the jury all of 2 hrs to determine that no assault took place whatsoever.

I am amazed at how some people on other message boards, after hearing the Osteen story, were so quick to crucify Mrs. Osteen for being a horrible person, yet a jury of the plaintiff's peers find no wrongdoing.

After the verdict, Joel Osteen stood at his wife's side and smiled.

"We have no ill will toward (Brown) or Continental or anybody," he said. "God will always see you through."

The jury of five women and seven men deliberated about two hours. State District Judge Patricia Hancock had warned the packed courtroom against outbursts when the decision was announced.

Orly? Tell that to the Georgians and South Ossetians.

QUOTE
Most were South Ossetian women and children on their way to a refugee center set up inside a summer camp by Russian authorities. Many of the fathers and older brothers stayed behind to fight.

Mother Nonna said she had never seen so many terrified children clinging to their mothers' skirts.

"The most difficult thing was to answer their question: Where was God?" she said. "They had so much fear in their eyes."

But on a different note, I'm glad to see that idiot flight attendant lose. I hope she gets counter sued for 10% of her net worth.

I'm sure more accounts will be written about later with Georgians who clung to their faith in God and that's all they had. That God released them from such horrible events.
