None of us are "card carrying members" as you so put it (well, maybe melanie is literally). But I guarandamntee you that you agree with one party's ideals more than the other. Even if it is only 60/40. You guys are so damn worried about labeling yourself (or rather not labeling yourselves). It's not that big of a deal. Calling yourself a democrat doesn't immediately peg you to the left, and same w/Republicans to the right. And calling yourself "moderate" or partiless or whatever you want to call yourselves doesn't centerline all the gauges and make you some kind of perfect mix either.
