But at the same time, it's kinda stupid to pick a degree just based on earning potential. It kinda seems like that is what you are saying, Dogmeat. Or close to what you are saying. Like we all have to pick useful degrees to major in when we start college. If everyone went that route, we wouldn't have hotel managers, psychologists, etc. We have to be happy with the choice we have made. I like that I chose print journalism. I want to be a writer for either a magazine or a news station or even an online news agency. I don't want to write for a newspaper. They are a dying industry, and I don't like newspaper news rooms anyway. I mean, now I just need to get my foot in the door somewhere since I have the education down. Ok, but what usually happens? People get a degree, don't get their "wonder job" straight out of the career fair, so they dink around for 3 or 4 years expecting it to come to them ... It doesn't work that way. You can gab and gab about all the "work experience" in the world, and it really doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot when you're dealing with late teens and early twenties individuals. I had more "work experience" for the given field I was applying for jobs for than %99 of the people my age who would apply, think I'd get hired without a CS degree? nooooooooooooooooope I could have had zero commercial IT experience when I was 21 and had a CS degree and had TONS of job offers right out of school ... Nobody wants to hire somone who went to college, got a degree, then piddled around for 3 years doing whatever because they didn't get offered their dream job right out of school ... I dunno, I'm sorry, but I've heard all the rationalization I need to about this subject ... I dont even remember what I'm arguing about right now anyways -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

It doesn't work that way. Honestly, it's the field you work in. That is a field where you need a degree and where employers look at your GPA. I never count engineering and nursing degrees. They are on a whole different playing field.

I'm pregnant still, and it sucks. I will try just about any means of natural labor induction. If anyone can suggest something different, I will try it. If it works, you win.
Things people have suggested that I have already tried: Tons of sex Tons of boob play (apparently, this can cause contractions... yup, didn't work) Tons of walking Back rubs Things I don't want to try that people have suggested: Caster oil (some lady suggested it, and another girl in the room told me the horror story of her trying it and shitting for two days straight... oh yeah, and not going into labor for another week even though she was already past her due date) Ready, set, google... |

So, I know this isn't the case, but I keep waiting for Jessica to say, "Hahah, tricked you guys, I'm not really pregant. I am now world dictator." I think that would be equally as cool as her having a kid.

I don't have any pics of my prego belly with my face in it, but here is a picture of my belly with a smiley face on it that my husband drew. My belly button is kinda out in the picture too because I was having a Braxton-Hicks contraction at the time it was taken. heh
