It's like either invest every extra penny or actually live your life somewhat in the moment. I think about all the money I waste too on eating out and driving to San Antonio to hang out with friends and stuff, but then I realize that the experiences are more worth it to me.

And my biggest suggestion for saving money on your cell phone bill is find someone you trust and get a family share plan. Bonus points if you find 2 people. Say you have a plan that is 1000 minutes a month with unlimited nights and weekends for $59.99 plus unlimited texting for $15.99. Add two extra lines for $9.99 each. The total bill is only like $130 including taxes. When you divide that by 3, you pay less than $45 each as opposed to paying close to $90 by yourself with taxes. Yeah, you have to split the minutes, but chose a provider that most of you know people with and your in-minutes will cover most of your calls.
I'm on my parent's plan now. I pay them $10/month to be on there.... a lot better than the $130 I was paying by myself. I never use my phone except for business calls. If I do use my phone, it's to call my mom or my husband, who is on his mom's plan. We all have Verizon so there is no minutes being used. |

yeah this newfangled idea of adding up monthly services makes it look really bad... think of how much TV + internet is added up over 5-10 years... I don't have tv right now because we don't see it as a necessity, but when the baby is about a year old we are going to have to get it. I think it would be cheaper to have cable than it would be to buy educational videos all the time. I don't care what people say, kids can learn a lot from TV. My brother got so much out of tv that it was INSANE. We just had to super monitor what he watched cuz he soaked up everything. Blah... kids are expensive.

So, I've got iPhone 2.0 firmware loaded on my iPhone...it's pretty nice when you get to using it. I've already loaded several applications directly from the AppStore over the cell network, and the contact search is great. And YAY for being able to save images.

I was reading on another board where someone was saying it is possible to mass text with an Iphone, provided you have the latest software update.
Umm, how do you do this? -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

Nope, not yet...
but with applications like MySpace you can upload pictures directly from the phone (either taken from the camera or something saved on the phone) |

my dealbreaker feature would be to make sure i can sync it up with outlook, and add/remove contacts using the PC, as well as sync the calendar with at least 2 PCs.
