You say the ipod is better then the zune, have you had any real experience with the second generation zunes?
I have one, and everyone i've let use it (it pretty much gets passed around at work) seems to agree that it's much better than an ipod. nevermind the awesome social features. (yeah, the zune social is actually really cool, if you don't know what it is, you should check it out, it didn't become fully realized until about 3 or 4 months ago.) -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

Which ones are second generation? My experience with zune social wasn't that good, but it was also several moths ago. I have the 30gb one and its search function for music is what i really hate. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

Any of the touchpad ones. Much easier to find music on the device with the touchpad. And as far as the social goes, yeah, it really just developed in the last month or so. To really get the most out of your zune, in my opinon, the ZunePass is really worth it.

until i'm more awake to explain it better. it's cooler than they describe it, especially if you have friends with zunes or 360's. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

I have to say their interface has always been better than windows, and their IPOD is much better than the zune. But then again, they have had at least 4 generation to work on the ipod. I have never used a Zune but the inerface on my iPod (bought 2005) leaves MUCH be desired. It's so clunky it's unusable while driving. That stupid "wheel" interface is pure garbage. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

yeah, except for the part where you're 100% wrong on this. dude, I own one, I think I would know. i have two. i had one as a free gift when it was the Gigabeat, then I got a 20GB zune. never used it because everytime i tried to put songs on it, it would try to convert to WMA and then fail in the process, only putting like 20 songs out of my entire library on it. never fucked with it again...just got another iPod. the sharing is kinda cool, but its just a novelty, unless zune gets as popular as the iPod someday. -------------------- ![]() A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have. |
