No we won't!

I think, really, it's because I don't care as much anymore? Your opinionz aren't any less valid than mine, so who cares if you don't agree with me. As long as we all like video games.

I kinda have come to the conclusion that this wouldn't bother me if it were for one thing. That is ego. People get into shouting matches much easier nowadays, road rage, check out lines, etc, etc. How many times will this happen:

1. guy B cuts in front of guy A in line
2. guy A gets pissed and they get into a shouting match
3. guy B moves his hand in the general direction of his gun
4. guy A sees this and puts his hand on his gun
5. guy B sees this and unsnaps his holster
6. guys C, D, E, and F see them both and unsnap their holsters
7. use your imagination for what happens next

nothing. because you're too tuned into the spaghetti western style movies.

i have heard alot about how there hasn't been any shootings western style in texas, and found this in 5 seconds of search::

that's referring to concealed carry, and it makes sense. it has absolutely nothing to do with the scenario I just gave.

thats because the scenario you gave is flawed and biased. you started this "scenerio" after the problem has already occured.

i deal with alot of hostile situations, and yes, on several occassions someone has been armed. and never once have i seen what you're trying to imply, and what i was doing to those people is way more provocation that a little arguement.

the people willing to pay for their open carry or concealed carry are not the trouble makers the majority of the time. as you've blatently stated in previous threads, if a criminal wants a gun, and wants to carry it, they are gonna do it regardless of the law. why has your stance done a complete 180 now?

but people werent openly carrying. that's the difference. if I'm concealing my weapon, the other person likely has no clue that I have one. if it's clearly visible on my hip though, and I make any movement (whether intentional or not) towards that weapon, the other person is going to fear for their life, and that creates a much different situation than a couple people with concealed weapons.

my stance hasn't changed at all. I still think people should be able to get concealed carry licenses, and I still agree with you that if criminals want guns they're going to get them.

I like the idea of open carry, but I honestly just think it would end up creating more problems than it's worth.

Hey idiots, this already exists in 44 states. Allowing open carry isn't going to bring about the apocalypse or radically change the nature of gun-violence like you all think.

yeah but how many of those states' citizens actually practice it? are these just old laws on the books or more recent changes?
