Actual weight gain. My mom monitors what my brother eats. She sets out very low fat foods and he only gets certain amounts. He only gets one snack in the evening, and it's usually a piece of fruit or some pretzels. The medicine slows down his metabolism like crazy.

Is he on CZR combo?

The funny part of this whole argument is that Cat says that she doesn't want to "pay" for other peoples healthcare and then uses the fact that our government won't let our hospitals go bankrupt due to illegals.

Essentially, this legislation in Japan is preventing people from getting jobs, and thus having access to affordable medical care and being able to "pay for themselves" and increasing their burden on society.

Plus, we arent socialist. No one pays for my medical insurance but me...so where the fuck did you pull this shit from? Sweden? If you recall, the black messiah running for the democrats supports stupid shit like this and I oppose universal healthcare for this very reason. It's very expensive and people tend to do stupid shit with their bodies enough as it is, imagine when they dont have to worry about incurring any costs.

I call BS. I'm just assuming here that the medication that he takes has no nutritional value whatsoever. If your brother is gaining weight(and I'm not talking about some temporary water retention), it means he's eating too much.

I'm not a doctor so I dont know, but how can you assume that there is no possible way that a medication can affect someone's basal metabolic rate? Seems possible to me.

It screws around with neurochemicals and those can change the precursors to the whole metabolic system. So they do not have nutritional value, but you would be the fat boy at the concentration camp.

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

If anybody thinks we dont pay for their healthcare they are mistaken.

True directly we only pay for our own healthcare, but the prices across the board are higher because of diseases and illegals.

We could make healthcare affordable for everyone by getting people to adopt healthier habits and enforcing illegal immigration laws and encouraging poor people who cant pay for their own healthcare to stop spawning.

My brother is not fat by any means. It's just very difficult for him to manage his weight. And a medicine can screw with your metabolism. I'm seriously brainstorming here trying to remember what the name of his damn medicine is. Aha! I remember. It's called Seroquel. One of the lesser known side affects listed on a few sites is weight gain. My brother also has to get his liver tested every 6 months because of this medicine. The medication has a lot of adverse side affects, but he is so much better with it. I just don't understand how he can take it since he has a bad seizure disorder as well, but I guess his seizure medicine keeps him from having seizures as a side affect of the Seroquel. Like I said, he isn't fat. He is actually small. Sometimes his tummy gets a little bigger, but then summer rolls around and he swims and lifts weights every day. It's just sad because he is such a rascal. Girls like him until he opens his mouth. He is really cute though. Only thing is, he is 15 and still hasn't gone through puberty yet. I call him and he sounds like a 6 year old on the phone. I don't know if it's a medicine that's causing this or if it's something else. I told my mom to get his thymus gland checked out. I read somewhere that an underfunctioning thymus can delay puberty. Hormone supplements can correct the problem and start puberty. *SHRUG* or he is just a late bloomer.

Interesting quandary. Not hiring based on alcoholism vs being a fatass. Neither are good for business. For a retail job, I wouldn't want to hire someone who weighs 300 pounds. It's all about the customer perception, and a porker gives the perception you hire lazy degenerates. If they don't give a shit about how they look, what makes me think they'd give a shit about how they did their job?

Both alcoholism and weight are controllable. I know you'll give some lame ass excuse like it's hereditary...I don't care. Here's a novel idea: spend less time posting on here and spend more time actually trying to lose weight. Try running 3-4 miles every day and eating right and you might see some results. You are one pathetic fuck if you can't lose weight and get fit

Oh, and I drink maybe once, twice every few weeks....so your argument is completely null and void, much like most of your other arguments on here. Good try though
