anyone else having issues with ff3 forgetting all the settings each time you open a new window (CNN international is set as a preference, but doesnt remember, weather.com doesnt remember that I save austin as my home, gmail does not keep me signed even though it should, same with yahoo, etc.)
Cookies are enabled, and I dont know where else to look. -------------------- bored...so i did this

Firefox 3 has been A Ok since beta. Enough bitching. Download it. You might try <googling> to help you out with reverting to some older settings (i.e. address bar). I don't know maybe google something like <reverting to old address/location bar in firefox 3> and you MIGHT just get some hits........... -------------------- ![]() |

And is there a fix for their damn built-in spell check underlining all my contractions? Doesn't matter what the contraction is, it isn't recognizing them. Yes, even the two I just used. |

I don't know maybe google something like <reverting to old address/location bar in firefox 3> and you MIGHT just get some hits........... the firefox developers are so presumptuous in making changes like the address bar... making it default and no option in the menu to change it sure you can download an extension but that just pisses me off, i don't like the developers forcing features they think are "cool" on me i'm boycotting firefox 3 until there's an option in the menu to revert to the old firefox settings |

I gave in and downloaded FF3, the only thing that bothers me is the address bar but i'm gonna leave it for awhile and see if it grows o n me
