hence why I said most...

And I find it funny that you didn't deny not liking her...

Why would I deny it?

I don't like most people on this site, but i don't want them to leave. Its like a little disfunctional foster home where everyone is here for a while, then eventually leave for all kinds of reasons.

I don't see it that way. I think we all have been getting along a lot better lately... except for her. She insists on being a raging bitch.

I don't wish she'd stop posting. Enough people have already left.

Me either, because I seriously laugh my ass off at how naive her view of the world is .... it does scare me though because after I get done laughing I realize how many more millions of brainwashed idiots there are out there and unfortunatley they all can vote sad.gif

If I had the opportunity, I'd risk getting shot any day of the week to be President.

I don't think anyone is saying it's a simple solution. Nobody is saying "just allow the drilling and tomorrow gas will be $1.50." But It would seem to be a prudent thing to do.

The solution is simple, it's just that 1/2 of washington wouldn't have been elected into office for the last 40 years if they would have allowed the simple solution to take place over that time period smile.gif

What is wrong with drilling to get off foreign oil AND reducing use of oil in general. Seems like we should use more effecient vehicles as well as use our own drilled oil .

Eh, it'd be the same situation with a dem president and rep congress.

Fucking politics...

Work towards more efficient vehicles whilst tapping into more domestic sources of fuel.
But oh no, can't have that....drilling for oil automatically means Exxon Valdez sized disasters every single time.
Heaven forbid the possibility that oil companies have actually improved drilling techniques/safety processes in all these years. rolleyes.gif
blah

Jeep Wrangler, motorcycle, and a good bicycle...all I need to cover my typical types of travel while using as little gas as possible.

/end rambling

No it wouldn't. This is exactly what happened before. The Republican Congress passed a bill to drill but Clinton vetoed it.

Thanks for your standard 8th grade answer though that "well nyah nyah the republicans would do the same thing!".

well, politics are pretty gay. That's why I like candidates that are more middle of the road than anything. Hence, another reason I can't stand Obama and his super liberal voting record.

*sigh*
Didn't catch what I meant...forgot that it has to be in crayon for you to understand.

Democratic president wants something, Republican Congress 9/10 times vetoes it.

For fuck's sake, I'm on your side with the drilling, but you still have to be an e-dick. hah laugh.gif

McCain isn't this bastion of moderate politics like the media portrays him. Hell I used to think that until I actually looked at his voting records. He has voted with the majority of his GOP colleagues over 88.3% of the time in the current congress.
http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/members/m000303/

His voting record is actually fairly conservative.

"John McCain's voting scores during his time in Congress, as given by the American Conservative Union (pink line; 100 is most conservative) and Americans for Democratic Action (dark blue line; 100 is most liberal)."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McCain#Political_positions

That little dip in 2000 is where this "champion of moderate politics" idea developed from.

God, that post she made in...ah, I forget which thread....
she actually thinks (and apparently enjoys/cares) that an internet message board revolves around her.

I seriously hurt from laughing when I read her post.
