Did ya watch the little video? The headlights open up kinda like eyelids.

And yeah, my thought is what happens when you get into a wreck. How much protection can it offer?

heheh yeah and the part where they made it blink. really interesting idea, I'm just thinking stuff, not even wrecks. What happens when a 2x4 gets kicked up into the side of the car? or some really windy/rainy weather, etc etc.

how do softtops fare? some balistic nylons could take hail and scuff. would like to see a road test. What would be cool would be variable parts that chaged your coefficient of drag as you moved.

the stuff on this car looked a little thinner than a typical convertible top. although I'd imagine this car would be more of a weekend cruiser than an everyday, hailstorm-drivin-through, workhorse.

Oh I see now... I was looking at some YouTube video they had posted on another page. I was confused because the car was under a sheet and couldn't be seen. Yeah, this is pretty cool.

Cool car. Like Impala said, don't know if it'd be practical... but I love to see automakers (or anyone, really) thinking outside the box.
