These are now going to be used in 10 aiports around the country. I find this to be very disturbing. Oh, and btw, how can I get a job with the TSA? tongue.gif

In all seriousness, though, TSA is a god damn joke.

yeah supposedly you'll be able to see everything. I was reading comments on this somewhere and a guy said: "Man I'm gonna work up a huge boner before I go into the thing, and see what they say"

If they already get to see the rest of me, I don't see what the point of hiding my face is. I know they think it will provide us with a sense of being anonymous, but really by that point, I think I'm beyond being humiliated any further.

it says you'd get the choice of the scan or the traditional pat-down.
i think i'd choose the latter. i agree its too personal and creepy.

I bet within 6 months the option is taken away. It seems to mee they are trying to eliminate the patdown.

write

"I'M A TURRURISST!" with a magic marker on your chest

i saw the pics and they arent colored, so i dont think they'd see any colorings on your body, but what do i know.
would it even be possible to see colors through your clothes anyway??

Yeah, I just looked up the pics. Not as bad as I imagined, but still...

I just see this as a violation of our rights

I like this article because it tells you how to conceal stuff still....heh

QUOTE
The scanners do a good job seeing under clothing but cannot see through plastic or rubber materials that resemble skin, said Peter Siegel, a senior scientist at the California Institute of Technology.

"You probably could find very common materials that you could wrap around you that would effectively obscure things," Siegel said.

ugh... more reason to hate the TSA.

If I am not in a hurry I intentionally go through security and claim I do not have ID.

Now they're putting a stop to that, saying that people can go through security without ID but those that have ID and claim not to will not be allowed through.
