yes, the Mayan calender predicts the end. (some say of the world, others say the end of this age) but it's strange the things that are found.
http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2006/10...tormwarning.htm supposed to be the biggest solar storm so far, predicted on the "conveyor belt theory" supposed to happen around 2012. before anyone starts denouncing (coughzachcough) or confirming (coughlancecough) things. i just wanna say that preperation for such events couldn't hurt, just in case. but hey, the Mayan's have been Double-Dog-Dared... set a date for something great. it will be known once and for all if they were wrong... and we live on with nothing happens... or they're proven right... and in which case, i guess we won't have much time to regret their warnings, now will we? of course, i prepare for the middle ground.... something actually happens, but it's no where near as catostrophic as the mayans believe, but significant enough to throw the world into chaos... -------------------- |

So what would happen then? Mass destruction of electronics or something?
QUOTE "I expect to see the first sunspots of the next cycle appear in late 2006 or 2007 and Solar Max to be underway by 2010 or 2011." Did these occur? |

Various civilizations throughout history and from various locations around the globe have been obsessed with December 21st 2012, the date the Mayans chose for the end of their calendar. Is it a coincidence or is there something to it?
1. The date, coincidentally is also the date of the great galactic alignment when we will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way galaxy. 2. A little known fact is that esoteric alchemists and the astronomers of the 16th-18th centuries were also obsessed with this date. 3. According to the mystery schools... freemasons, rosicrucians, templars etc., with the alignment we are entering an area of the galaxy with a different vibration which will simultaneously wreak havoc/natural disasters around the earth and upgrade humanities consciousness into fifth density. 4. Terrence Mckenna independently came up with his idea of cosmic novelty and timeware zero which predicts a quickening ending at Dec. 21st, 2012 by tripping on mushrooms in the amazon and using the revealed knowledge to decode the I-Ching. When he heard the Mayans also picked this date he was stunned. Decode the Alchemical symbols and inscriptions on the great cross at Hendaye and much will be revealed: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() dare to prepare |

what would you do to prepare? I would have a stockpile of food and water, a water purification system, books/knowledge on agriculture and gardening along with a stockpile of seeds I can use to grow food. Also, guns + bullets to protect said food & water from those who didn't prepare. If you take any medications that you need to survive I would ask your doctor for a 6-month supply that you can hold on to for emergency purposes (they regularly do this). I would have my eyeglasses prescription up to date or get lasik, and I would have a bike for transportation purposes. |

im super paranoid about end of the world scenarios but obviously not on the scale of bacon baby and his boys.
i think if there was a "mass destruction of electrons" a stockpile of guns and medications aint going to help the matter a bit. my outlook is that 2012 will be the dawning of a new age. some nutjobs will think they see a sign from the virgin mary or jesus and so all the religious people in the world will calm the fuck down. this, as well as mass increase in fuel efficient technology and low-to-no reliance on oil, will precede a long period of uninterrupted peace on the caliber that has never been seen before. much nicer outlook than fuel prices being 18$+/gal, economy turning into a mush of shit and the following colossal WW3 that would ensue as every country in the world goes to battle for natural resources -------------------- Little monkeys making money

Mass destruction of electrons?? and low-to-no reliance on oil, Low to no reliance on oil? So 600 million passenger cars, and the tens of thousands of airline flights per day, and freight trucks & trains that transport everything, will all be converted to not use petroleum based fuels four years from now???!?!? We also going to quit making plastics and every other material that uses petroleum as a base??? |
