well considering the two games in Utah already were decided by a total of 6 pts, and the rockets are on the momentum, a 7.5 spread seems huge. 3-5 sounds a lot closer... hmm...

i would say because there seems to be a theme with, i guess, an "exhausted effort." ...kind of the the way i would describe it.
like how the 76ers got blown out last night. or the hawks got blown out tuesday. sort of "we've given all we have to give and now we've just run out of energy." make sense? i think it'll be tight though. -------------------- Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty.

eh I dunno. the rockets had this exact situation last year and forced a game 7 at home. I'm just saying in terms of odds... +7.5 is a lot for this series. Hard to pass up... I'm thinkin about taking it.

ahh ok. even the skeptical sports talk radio guys here took Houston +7.5. I said hell with it and went ahead w/$100. So hopefully will leave here in a few for the 'stros game, watch Roy throw a 3 hit shutout complete game, then head over to some sports bar and watch the rockets win, or lose by a maximum of 7

no matter how many times people have explained the spread to me, I still don't get what it is.

just add or subtract those points to the final score and then see if you win still.
so we're picking houston at +7.5 if the final score is 91-98 jazz we still win. cause the final score in the betting world would be 98.5-98 houston. -------------------- Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty.

oh well... didn't count on rafer being out most of the game, or devon williams becoming an inferno behind the 3pt line. if nothing else the most annoying part will be to listen to all the dipshit calls into the sports radio shows calling to trade t-mac.
at least the astros game i went to was kick ass |
