So I'm trying to install updates to my boyfriend's windows xp computer and when I go to the microsoft update webpage from IE, I get a strange error...

I'm using windows XP though... I've also noticed a couple of webpages that tell me my browser isn't supported and to use IE. Any ideas how to fix this?

Figured it out. The problem went away when I disabled Symantec endpoint protection.

Yeah, I swapped it out for Antivir. I honestly wouldn't put any av software on here at all except for the fact that my boyfriend doesn't always utilize intelligence when browsing the internet. smile.gif
