Okay, so on some other IPB-based forums I'm on, the quote function works a good bit differently then it does here. Rather than clicking on the quote button for one person's post and having it take you straight to the reply page with a seperate box for the quote, it would let you click multiple people's quote buttons (toggling them on or off) and then when the user was ready, they would click the "add reply" button and be taken to the reply page. The reply page would only have one box, but the selected quoted posts would appear in the box in full BBcode quote format. This allowed you to quote more than one person in a post, as well as quote posts from other threads. It takes one or two tries to get used to, but is overall more efficient.
So, I was wondering. Is this simply a feature implemented in later versions of IPB software, or is there a way to implement it on any version? (aka, is it just a plugin that the other sites are using or does it come standard, aka an option for the admin.) Cuz that would be nifty. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

I'm pretty sure that's not standard, at least not on version 1.* of IPB... maybe for version 2+?

It could very well be a hack, but I've never seen anything like it.
