the reason they think we're going towards a cold cycle is that the sun spots have disappeared or have died down...
but i've also heard that the sun is getting "brighter" and that can lead to our climate warming... so really no one fucking knows and that's why i don't listen to crap where people are flailing their arms saying we're doomed i just saw one very interesting show, the world without humans.... pretty much 150 years after we're gone the earth has returned to a normal state...all nuclear radiation (when the unmanaged plants explode) has dissipated and the trees scrub any remaining pollution out of the air now we can't say this is 100% truth (no science is) but from our understanding of the world now, this can be predicted i think the biggest threat we have is population...as the population grows the food demand grows...i think our global conquest for food in the ocean, harvesting on land, etc. can have a major enough impact on the earth....not our cars -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good. They wake up the next day and they're on fire."
