They basically pay you $4500 over the course of a summer to write code for an open source project. It's pretty awesome because I don't even have to leave the house to do it.

Sorry I haven't been on in a while, I've been somewhat busy with this project lately. My blog on building the project is here. As of right now, I've got a web server up and running that will run WSGI programs somewhat (basically, that's just a fancy way of saying that I built a webserver that will run python code to generate web pages). As of right now, all it does is show a webpage giving various environment variables and show 404s, but I'm progressing!

As of right now, I just have a Mac application that you can test out. This last week, I found a trick that will allow me to make a single executable out of my python code that should run on just about any Unix-like OS (including of course Linux and Mac OS X), so I should have a version that will run in Linux also.
