I have no idea whatsoever how many people will vote for obama because he's black, or for hillary because she's a woman. there's no real way to know.
What you can do is decide how smart you think the typical voter is, and what they might base their decision on. How many black people out there have ever had a chance to vote for a black person for president? ZERO. How many women have ever had a chance to vote for a woman for president? ZERO. People do vote for someone who shares views with them and such, but what will those people do when they don't research the candidates' views? What do you guys think the "plan B" is for those voters who basically have a picture of each candidate and don't know much else other than their party & skin color/sex? Anyone here really think that if a black voter comes to a toss up between mccain and obama, that they'll go "ahh screw it, I'll vote for the white guy"?? Hell no! |

I didn't know you hung around a lot of trust-fund hippies? ...Because those are the majority (oh noes, I didn't use MOST!) of the people I've heard using the Black/Female excuse. Makes me f'n sick when I hear people espouse that as there only reason to vote Obama or Hilary, respectively. Same when people say McCain is this bastion of "moderate politics" when he actually has one of the most Conservative voting records in the Senate (which will please many of you on here, I know). I also don't like how McCain has had some repeated lapses in memory concerning foreign policy (specifically relating to Iran/Iraq) recently. Hello gramps... my comment was in regard to people declaring thier first reason for voting for one or the other as "he's black" or "she's a woman" i hear alot of people usually mentioning that fact at the very begining of their validation for choosing one or the other -------------------- |

Fuck whitey!
-------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

I can almost guarantee that McCain will be the next president. I don't care if you're Republican or Democratic... you have to admit that McCain is the only rational choice for president right now. All Osama... I mean Obama and Hillary are doing is splitting the Democratic party. It's funny. Osama... I mean Obama supporters say Hillary should back out. How is that fair? He is the one that sticks his foot in his mouth every five seconds. Good ol' back woods Pennsylvanians aren't going to vote for him because their guns and religion tell them to vote for Hillary *sarcasm*. I swear. Obama is an idiot and Clinton is a woman. No way either one of them will win against McCain...who speaks very rationally in every press conference I have seen him in....oh and he has a penis

The problem is, people don't always make rational choices. Especially when presented with candidates of different races & sexes.

Therefore, they say what polls tell them to say. Not much individual character in either member of that trifecta. And McCain speaks rationally? Really? You want a public speaker or a president? The President of the goddamned United States of America needs to be able to rationally speak in front of a crowd, and be able to ACCURATELY present the facts when doing so. You're spoiled on your boy Bush. "Der, just git me somebody with their fingerrr on the triggerrr and I'll be happy, huhHUCK!" I'm with you Zach. I hate when people do that. Oh how cute, you think you're soooo funny and witty when you call him "Osama". Yet people are so dumb that they don't realize that Obama is the Presidential candidate's LAST name and Osama is the terrorist's FIRST name.
So keep on calling him Osama, just making yourself look ignorant. |

Youve been watching too much comedy central bud. Haha, well they have better comedy writers than FoxNews. Murdoch's stuff seems too flat and they try to force the punchline! This post has been edited by Psykopath: Apr 21 2008, 03:13 PM -------------------- |

Oh, and John Wilkes Booth... oh I mean John McCain is so out of touch with reality like the rest of the Republican Party. Oh no, there is no mortgage crisis... that's just a figment of your imagination.
Edit: More than I can say about the last 8 years of George Bush |

You act like I give a shit about Fox News. All I'm saying is the "omg bush is a dumbass when speaking" is completely overblown and overdone. you can find a stumbling fumbling speech screwups compilation of every president since the video camera was invented.

You're an ignorant piece of tripe for taking part in that name-game crap with Obama. I only did the Osama Obama crap because Ted Kennedy accidentally made the foul-up months ago and some dude introducing obama made the slip a few weeks ago. It's funny to me. ---- McCain is a politician, the same as Obama and Hilary. Therefore, they say what polls tell them to say. Not much individual character in either member of that trifecta. You need to watch this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=C7ZP_nydIzI&feature=related I completely agree with him on this issue. The press is annoying as shit. |

It was a pun... said because OBAMA SUPPORTERS THEMSELVES HAD MADE THE MISTAKE. *cough* Ted Kennedy *cough* So keep on calling him Osama, just making yourself look ignorant. |
