and from someone whos had a class about ESL teaching and had to have this on test after test, isolation is not a good teaching method who said anything about teaching? teaching is failing. we're looking for results with no regard for human rights -------------------- |

i did yo. there's more portuguese speakers in the western hemisphere than french, by far. even in canada, hardly anyone speaks french. sorry, i didn't read it through all the crap on the thread. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

spanish is the only other prevalent language in the United States at least. 82% english, 10% spanish, the other 8% is a make up of way over 13 languages http://www.mla.org/map_main - modern language association. and does anyone really care about canada? Was that primary only or what about people with multiple languages? by the numbers I'm guessing primary -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!
