Haha doh. I doubt he'd get any NCAA imposed sanctions. Prob something from the school though, who knows. Misdemeanor prob no big deal though.

QUOTE Texas Tech football player Edward Britton bonded out of Lubbock County Jail on Thursday in response to a misdemeanor assault charge, a Lubbock County Sheriff's official said.
During a traffic stop earlier Thursday, Britton was found to have a warrant stemming from an alleged incident two years ago, according to his father, who is also named Edward. "It's a grave misunderstanding,'' the elder Britton said. "We hope that eventually it will get resolved. Some time back he was accused of being somewhere and in an altercation, when he wasn't even there. It was almost two years ago. The attorney was supposed to have taken care of it but it must have fallen through the cracks.'' |

i dont know what kind of confidentiality a person who works in a bail bonds office is under but are you supposed to be talking about this over the internet? it's public knowledge. http://www.co.lubbock.tx.us/Sheriff/reports.htm go to that site, it'll list everyone currently in jail, what charges, etc. and who's been released in the last 24 hrs. you can request info as much as a week back, but you gotta pay the jail $10 to print you out a jail card. besides, they sign a release of information waiver. normally i do keep everything secret, but when they are a prick, i see no reason to respect their privacy -------------------- |
