I'm thinking about seeing if there are any jobs I can get over the summer that would be programming related. I could probably get a good job as a web programmer using PHP, but I know enough PHP to know that I hate it. Any advice? (yeah, I know if I wanted an internship I should have started applying a LONG time ago)

You want a job doing PHP even though you hate it?
I know of a few places that will hire depending on your skills. Are you wanting to stay in Lubbock or wanting to go somewhere for the summer? Post your resume. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

Post your resume. No. I don't want to do PHP. I know python and C#, as well as C and C++ (but I don't know those as well as python or C#). I'd really like to get a job involving some python coding, but that doesn't seem to be as marketable a skill as the others. I'll post my resume when I get home, but basically, it's a mix of technical support jobs as well as computer sales for CompUSA and Circuit City. And lastly, I'd like to stay in Lubbock. -------------------- Holy shit, pebkac, you're awesome! Thanks. I'll keep that in mind during my job search.
