Oh I dunno, because maybe there's like eleventy billion million zillion gagillion more animals than just humans, and they've been here for hundreds of millions of years longer than us, and they haven't blown up the planet yet?

Because velociraptors, rabbits, and cattle have driven cars and built nuclear weapons for the past several eons. rolleyes.gif

All of those animals breathe out way more CO2 than our cars do. And the regular planet's volcanic activity over the course of millions of years makes our nuclear bomb testing & use look like a firecracker.

volcanic activity did change the earths atmosphere drastically/catastrophically. thankfully volcanic activity isnt an issue now

i dont think animals CO2 output is comparable to humans when you think about how much a factory pumps out and all our cars etc versus how much CO2 is expelled in respiration. even if there are a million zillion gabillion quadgrillion animals or whatever you said. but im not an expert on respiration but i dont think im the only one!

I'll try and look it up again later, I posted it here a long time ago I know. It was something like the average passenger vehicle puts out as much CO2 as four average human beings.

do you think global climate change and the environment would be such a big issue in this upcoming election if the general public didnt care?

Do you think the general public would care had this not been made into a political issue by a bunch of left wing whackos trying to push their own socialist agendas visa vis "climate change" and scaring the public about a bunch of crap?

This is seriously the same god damned thing that the Democrats have been accusing the Republicans of with the "War on Terror" ...

What was the cause of the Ice Age? Was that something natural or were dinosaurs using aerosol hairspray and driving V8 gas guzzlers through the open lands?

It just seems apparent to me that the globe goes through a periodic cooling and heating. Simple as that

it does. but those cycles obviously have to be based on something. for example solar radiation, gravitational pull, the earths orbit around the sun, volcanic activity, and human influence.

if you believe in the solar theory/gravitationl pull/earths orbit theory on climate (where the earth is in orbit influences the seasons we all know that but also extreme climate shifts). then the earth SHOULD be heading into an ice age (because the earth is now in its elliptical orbit), but we arent. theres a confounding variable in whats happening to our weather and climate. why arent things cooling down like its supposed to, why do these draughts/freezes/storms keep happening here or there. theres really strong evidence indicating that the thing thats messing all this up is human activity

my main goal in life is now to ruin the environment just to piss all the environmentalists off smile.gif

And, I figure if I do everything I can to ruin the environment on THIS planet, we'll be FORCED to make the space program the driving force of humanity for our own survival.

Ruining the environment on this planet is going to be the best thing that ever happened to the human race!
