starting around $33k.... smile.gif

(and that's MSRP, not sure how the caddy dealers are, but surely you wouldn't pay full MSRP)

probably not getting another vehicle until september. i finish school may 6th and then my parents will be here for almost a week. They can drive me around so I can get all the stuff I need. I might be getting a job here at the apt complex I live at and then I move August 22nd (to where, I don't know... anywhere in the world practically). I really don't need a car right now other than to get to my dr's appointments, but I can share a vehicle with my husband for that. I just want to save and pay down some bills before the baby so I'm not really interested in getting a car right now. Plus, I mean, we could even get sent to Germany. It would be easier to just get a temporary car there than worry about shipping one I bought here over.

And yes, KC, my baby is due in July. smile.gif My truck is my baby for now.

It sucks being awake at 4:30 in the morning (been awake since 3:20 actually) and this being the most sleep I have been able to get in a while. God, I am so sick of being pregnant.

And on another note, my husband and I had been looking at cars before we kinda decided to hold off for now. We looked at the Mazda 3, the Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry and Corolla, and the Honda Civic Hybrid (which I hate hybrid vehicles cuz they usually look like space vehicles, but the civic doesn't say the word hybrid anywhere on it and it has a decent look. the front end isnt the greatest but the back is nice. plus, it gets at minimum 40 miles to the gallon...a lot better than the 16 I have been getting lately). We wanted something economical and safe (cuz of the baby) but also fun to drive. I personally like the Altima the best. He wanted me to get something a little more sporty though I think

when you mentioned early 70's muscle cars, do you have anything specific in mind?
I know where a really nice 78 Trans Am is at, but since I work and goto school around a lot of people that know or have old school muscle cars I could put the word out and see what I could find.

If you're trying to save money on gas and maintenance, I would seriously steer (pun intended) clear of older cars.

Yeah it looks like he took that out of his OP... wanting 20/25mpg and an old "muscle" car don't really jive.

I'm kinda taken back that your truck holds that much in blue-book value. A lot of trucks depreciate in value super fast.
