Heresy. Baby fetus puree.

More notes! Captain falcon has an insane learning curve and nearly every attack with Olimar is like Game and Watches Foreward + b!

He means, he doesn't play the game and doesn't understand it. Like non-gamers who read the wow thread.

I've grown to really like metaknight. Snake is a pain in the ass to use but he hits unbelievably hard.

Once you get falcon's eat my knee move down you'll rape all.

anyone getting the online play to work? I thought they'd have it fixed by now, but I've only been able to get it to work once since the game came out.

so they expect us to believe this is the first dual layer wii game? (i recall there being dual layer GAMECUBE games, btw.) and that, despite the technology being available without this problem for years, all of a sudden were having problems with dual layer dvd discs?

seriously?

because i'm smelling a crock of shit.

Don't mod your game system that is incredibly hard to get right now and you'll be fine.

I don't think they are that hard to get anymore

I think it's the sheer size of this game and how much information that is on the disk that is causing the problem, amplified by the fact that it's dual layer.

Like I said, the production is no longer limited. Demand is being met. All those that got Wii certificats for Christmas got their Wii. Best Buy is getting shipments of 80+ at a time. San Marcos Best Buy has had signs on their doors for a few weeks now saying they have Wii's. The Wii is only a year old if I remember correctly... Supply was just short during the holiday season.

It's taken them over a year to figure out production to properly meet demand? That's ridiculous. And I've still yet to see them in stores. Game Stop never has them. Neither does Best Buy or Walmart. One of my friends found two at HEB, and the only reason he found them is because HEB isn't a place you'd usually look for a video game console.

Seems one of two things is happening. Nintendo is either absolutely pathetic for not being able to mass produce a system to meet proper demand more than a year after it was initially released; Or, they're intentionally limiting supply to create a false sense of demand. I think if they cranked the presses Wii's would sit stagnantly on shelves and Nintendo would realize they aren't as sought after as everyone believes. I think someone else had the same theory, maybe impala

The ratio of my friends who own a PS3/360 to ones who own a Wii is about 8:1. And it's not because Wii's are hard to find. These are people who, if they had to spend an extra few hundred buying a console on ebay, it wouldn't really matter to them. I think the Wii is nothing more than a niche market, and people are confusing it for one of the "big three" gaming systems because of a false sense of supply vs demand. Nintendo isn't producing a ton of them because they know the demand wouldn't be there.

I could probably find some fancy statistics to back up my claim, but I don't wanna, so I'll just assume I'm right cool.gif

I would venture to say that more people own a Wii than a shitty PS3. I wouldn't touch a PS3. Those things are junk. If more people do own a PS3, it's sherely because of the blu-ray player and for nothing else. They have 1 or 2 titles that are good exclusives. The only thing that makes them worth while is the cheap Blu-ray player. Other than that, there isn't a damn thing that is special about them. As for the Wii being in short supply, I think it's smart. Rather than create more than are wanted and be under financially, they create fewer and only manufacture to meet the demand. Of course, when you do it that way, people will have to wait for more Wii's to be manufactured.

Fuck you, bitch! Don't diss the PS3. It's worth it for FF13 (whenever it comes out, and it will be exclusive) and Uncharted, plus the Blu-Ray player and the ability to connect to the internet. Plus on my TV, graphics are slightly better for the PS3 than the 360 for identical games. And the PS3 looks sleeker and sexier. Bitch!

Limiting production is smart from a marketing standpoint. Keeps interest abuzz and people wanting more. But the concept of "keep your company afloat by limiting production of your main product" is mildly retarded.
