Big 12 Tourney Options

I didn't use it as an excuse. I said I expect more out of a big 12 team. Where would you expect a big 12 team to be in that list of 300? And if they're so bad perhaps you can explain why your precious #5 UT couldn't beat them?

Tech beat a good team....one. They also got their asses handed to them by 25 or more on at least several occasions, and I didn't watch any basketball until I moved in to the new house two months ago so who knows how many times they got assraped at the beginning of the season

The Big 12 sucks in general. Other than Kansas I seriously doubt any other team has won it all

The ACC has Duke and UNC
SEC has UK and UF
PAC10 has UCLA and Arizona
Big10 has UM, Michigan State, and Indiana
Big East has Syracuse and....someone else has won an NC, i think Pitt. I don't feel like looking it up

Unless something asinine happened like Colorado won it in 1926, the Big 12 has one team that has collectively (via affiliation with other conferences and the B12) won it all. And that would be tied with whatever conference Indiana State is in

Kansas and Okie Lite have both won 2 NCAA championships. Our conference is pretty tough we just don't have alot to show for it. But this year both UT and KU have a pretty good chance of bringing home the trophy.


Also I feel wed be better off in the NIT because we would have a fighting chance and we could go a few rounds, good prep for future tournaments. If we went to the NCAA we would proabably be blown apart first game and i can't see anything positive coming from that.


But we all know that Impala is always right on the internet and the rest of us don't know shit /sarcasm

If i thought we could be competitive in NCAAs then I would be all for it. But this year when we face a better opponent away from home we just cant handle it. ( see TAMU and KU games, worst losses in our history) Our team is young and needs the experience of a tournament more than the prestige of getting into the NCAAs

Our only huge loss after this season is Zeno, who is non-existant today, so the future looks good for an NCAA run, just not right now

Well I don't really put much on setting records for worst loss. It's an L whether its by 1 or by 50.

So Colorado becomes the first #12 seed in big 12 history to win a game at the tourny.

With that loss Baylor might be on the outside looking in, and if A&M wins it makes their chances alot better.
