i think people here have provided you with scientific peer reviewed scholarly articles with statistics that do show mans influence on the warming but you discount everything! thats not the scientific communities fault and its not because of lack of evidence you guys always talk about scientists, scientists, the need for scientists and its scientists that know everything as evidence by statements like "thats what the nonscientist community thinks", "well scientists...". but what about scientists that have spent their lives on this and have found the correlation between man and global warming? they dont count, but magically you guys' scientists do? i guess thats just the only point that i dont get in debates that happen on techsans. because thats what every single argument thats been on techsans boils down to SCIENTISTS im talking about SCIENTISTS scientists www.jesusfreaks4savingtheplanet.com/global_warming_will_kill_us_all.htm does not qualify as scholorly ... And, there are quite a few "scholorly" publications that are bought off as well. And, you have no idea who, or what kind of so-called "scientists" are pushing your agenda. Like I said, I'm a fucking scientist. I say they're wrong. I'm now going to get a whole bunch of other scientsts to agree with me. Do you see how this is ANYTHING but a scientific discussion yet? It doesn't have a god damned thing to do with "science" ... it's a political debate, pure and simple. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

Record breaking snowfall in Canada, only 11 days away from spring.
http://www.recorder.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=936914 QUOTE Climatologists had predicted this would be the worst winter Canada has endured in 15 years. Temperatures are not as low as in previous record years in Ontario, but the level of snow is approaching record levels. Environment Canada says Ottawa is approaching a record-breaking year with 410.7 centimetres this year compared to the previous record of 444.6 centimetres that fell in the winter of 1970-71. Damn global warming! |
