We seriously need to invent an RPG based on American Politics.
Zach, this could be really good for you if you were to ever go for a PhD in PoliSci ... We could literally find ways to invent mathematical formulae that would dictate outcomes based on current political research, and our own wild immaginations. It would be sort of realistic yet very very satirical at the same time, and probably quite cynical ... But think about this. What if there was a Political RPG on the same type of scale D&D is? This could be REALLY fun to play. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

So where would you begin? Oh man...where to begin!? Instead of races: political parties, each with their own pluses and minuses. Instead of classes: maybe occupations? Senator, Representative, Lobbyist, etc. etc. etc. Just tossing out some ideas. -------------------- |

This would have to be an online game... with the main "classes" (rep., dem., etc.), and also having sub-classes like a 7th level democrat lobbyist.
also, the intelligence and politics skills are completely seperate So the more power towards intelligence equals less ability to use it (because we all know intelligent people don't get anything done in D.C.) sex scandal breaks out....your party automatically gets a -5 PR rating -------------------- |

democrats would automatically start off with +100 tax collecting Well what do you expect?! Republicans start with a +20 to sleight-of-hand checks when dealing with "under the table" contributions! -------------------- |
