Yeah, I don't think they talked directly. Cunninham talked before a McCain rally started, then McCain said later that he apologized for the guy's comments.
I have no problems with candidates and political commentators exchanging barbs on policy issues, but racism, sexism, bigotry, and fabrications (alluding to Obama being a Muslim, what I gathered from this article) have no place. -------------------- |

well...it is a muslim name. he never called him muslim. but even if you read obama's bio, it says his middle name is of muslim decent. who cares?

Do you use people's full name all the time when talking about them? People do that kind of stuff for a reason. I think it's obvious to everyone (except you maybe) that he was saying his middle name because he wants people to associate Obama w/Saddam. Do you also think Hillary has no motive behind calling herself "Hillary Rodham Clinton" when she's around liberals and women, and just "Hillary Clinton" when she's around conservatives & men? |
