So I was going to post about how they're doing so well, won 12 in a row, 21-3 in their last 24. Pretty awesome. Then oh yeah, they just announced Yao Ming is out for the season w/a foot stress fracture.

something like that happens to the rockets every year at this time.

oh well shit, I guess that means he sucks then if he's only 1 in 6 instead of 4.

stephen a smith on sportscenter got it right on the only way the rockets will make the playoffs now.

well apparently he hasn't watched the rockets lately. tmac has sucked ass lately (at least, as far as his standards are concerned). he's partially right though, the only way the rockets do any good is if tmac plays well. we shall see. I think the rockets will still make the playoffs. they're sitting at a firm #7 in the western conference and have a fairly cream puff schedule the rest of the season.
