Here's a nice, cheap blu-ray player for those of you who haven't gotten one yet.

Was also four years old when I get it. But it suits my needs, has great gas mileage, and has given me nary a problem in the two years I've had it. thumsbup.gif

pretty funny that the best selling high def disc this past week was HD-DVD even after it's announced by the developer that it's DEAD.

Well if you have a player and already have a bunch of disks, why not nab more HD DVDs? Especially if they're effectively on clearance now...

Microsoft officially announces support for Blu-ray

We've already been working on, for example, in Windows, device driver support for Blu-ray drives and the like. I think the world moves on. Toshiba has moved on. We've moved on, and we'll support Blu-ray in ways that make sense.

June 8-14, wal mart is offering a $100 gift card with any purchase of a blu-ray player (yes that includes the PS3).

I've also noticed lately at wal mart (and other stores/websites/amazon/etc) that blu-ray catalog titles have gone down from the $25-30 range to the $15-22 range. definitely a step in the right direction.
