yes I'm white but I don't think that has anything to do about it.
I just think it will happen just because racism is still alive and the "powers to be" wouldn't let it happen because of that reason.

I agree. I was just asking his/her race to find out what side of the spectrum they were coming from. If a white person was making the argument that immigration would be cut off is different than a non-white person making the argument (at least to me).

why would it be different? If anything a non-white person would probably come to the same conclusions because of their own personal oppressions...they would understand that racism is still around and that the whites in power wouldn't let it happen...

i was refering more to the idea that people who are smarter tend to reproduce less (1-2 children) but the poor and uneducated tend to reproduce way more.

my implication was that smart people are getting bred out and are gonna go extinct.

I don't think it is overblow at all. Almost every single advanced country is having an immigration problem which is a big deal. With us it is Mexicans. Here in Scandinavia it's Muslims. Every country wants to protect/enforce some sort of cultural hegemony, and when the dominant class becomes a minority they can't do it as effictively. That's why Scandinavians are considering curbing immigration drastically (because of the recent influx) and that's why we would curb it and most likely stop it completely if we are ever in a type of position the article mentions.
