I never noticed that there were no vowels on standard plates. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

Huh, I wonder why they don't use vowels.

I voted for Lone Star Texas. I liked New Texas a lot too, though.

i don't find any of them particularly that great.
although i don't like the current one, i like how it incorporates NASA, oil fields, etc. i'd have to go with the simple look of Traditional Texas, but I like the background color scheme of New Texas (but definitely not the skyline). the "lone star state" motto looks the best on Traditional Texas as well. i don't like "Lone Star Texas" because it makes Texas look like it's just a giant wasteland of nothing. i'd rather have no background than that one. Natural Texas is just slightly better. -------------------- ![]() |

I think front plates are a good idea. Plus, I would rather see numbers and letters than see a bunch of mexican low riders with the word VATO on their front plate.... or see a bunch of Dallas Cowboys fanboys with Cowboy plates on the front of their car.

I don't like any of them that well but Natural Texas was the best new alternative. The old one is good imo.

This one is gaining quite a bit of interest for those voting outside of Texas...

A or 4
E or 3 I or 1 O or 0 U or ...8? Dunno on U, but when you're trying to pick up a six character plate quickly, it's nice to not have to guess at what the character is. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?
