any favorite Austin breweries for tours, tasting, etc...? how about wineries in the austin/san antonio area while we're at it |

There are not a ton of breweries in Austin and there is one that you can visit but I dislike the beer.
Others that you can try are the Independence Brewery: http://www.independencebrewing.com/ Live Oak: http://www.liveoakbrewing.com/ (their Hefeweizen is awesome) And Stonehouse Brewery (no website) -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

Is that Pilsner Warehouse in downtown Lubbock a Brewery? Everytime I've passed by there's a Mini Cooper parked out in front, and it's a weird looking building. Like the kind of building you'd go in and find 654 starving Jews.
