Ok, I'm working on a backup of a drive that's slowly dying. I'm down to like the last 15 files or so, but they're big ones. I've been trying to copy them across the network, but every so often the drive will hiccup and interrupt the copy, leaving me with a partial file on the backup drive. Is there any good way to copy files that will try longer to re-establish connection to the source drive before giving up? I've been using cp -rpu on Cygwin since it's slightly less retarded than Windows copy/paste, but it still doesn't have any fault detection/recovery that I know of.
