I am more of a high quality, HD, surround sound, etc type of guy, but if you use netflix and dont want to wait on the mail, this seems like a pretty neat option:
http://gizmodo.com/389698/first-netflix-st...mited-downloads ![]() Box costs $100, connects to your high speed internet (wireless or wired, although wired would prob be better). If you have a netflix account costing $9 or more per month, you basically get unlimited access to all 10,000+ netflix movies available. It has HDMI connectors and they claim they'll add HD functionality later. Not really my cup of tea, but I think it'd be pretty awesome for a lot of people. Only word of warning would be that it might be a good idea to give it some time and see how people's experiences are with it. (i.e. does the movie stutter, does internet use affect it, etc). |
