I have been hearing A LOT of talk lately that this is possible. I don't really understand how it could be. What do you all think and give an explanation as to why you think that way.

I feel this is an NPR issue because science is news.

I seem to recall a discovery channel show where they showed this test of two synchronized clocks, then put one in a blackbird and let it fly mach 5 or whatever it does and when it got back the clocks were off by some tiny fraction of a second.

yes this did occur. They used atomic clocks.
