That's kinda crazy... within 1.4 times the distance to the moon... I bet it'd be pretty nasty for us if this thing hit the moon. |

They mentioned the earth gets hit by these every 37,000 years or so... not sure if this one would be apocolyptic at 500ft wide, but probably pretty bad.
