So this kid calls the home of the COO of the county schools because school wasn't canceled even though there was snow. The wife calls the kid back and bashes him a little. He posts the audio on Facebook and other places and gives out the employee's phone number.

He's quoted as saying "I was just exercising my right to free speech" which I disagree with, his right to free speech impeded on another's right to privacy.

Well, I agree that he shouldn't have crossed that line, but I wouldn't truly consider it a violation of privacy. A bit rude, yes, but that's about it. It's neither a free speech nor a privacy issue, just a matter of common courtesy.

Yeah, the initial call wasn't over the line but the actions afterwards were.

Also, why would this 17 year old feel the need to call this guy? It's almost like he knew it would incite or cause problems.

When I was in school, if class wasn't canceled because of the weather I said "that sucks" then went to school. I didn't call up the principal and bitch and moan.
