Though I really doubt that either one of these measures will stop the coming recession, I think the democrats are on a better track than the president is (big surprise I know!). That is to say, giving the economy a quick shot in the arm isn't going to be much more than a stop gap. The article is misleading as it hints that the Democrats do not want any business incentives or tax cuts (which they do). Again, I find this hilarious as they were the ones so adamantly against Bush's original tax cuts.
