Just a reminder to everyone, if you travel with an extra battery in your checked luggage, you will not be able to do that anymore.

Also, any extra lithium ion batteries you carry on the plane should be in a plastic bag of some sort (though I'm not sure how they're enforcing this).

Geez this is stupid. So it's ok for it to catch fire as long as its in your carryon bags.

I agree. I'm just trying to figure out what is so magical about Jan 1. If this was such a problem, why did they wait until the new year? rolleyes.gif
