When I worked for Comp in Austin, I worked in the business sales dept and I could get away with murder because I could do anything I wanted as long as the company made even the smallest amount of money on it. I was allowed to discount products for business customers based on how often they purchased. As long as we kept margin points above 18 on accessories, no one would question. One time, this lady with 4 kids (who was a business owner) was standing in line with her kids for a while so I gave her everything at 75% off because I felt bad for her. I loved that job.
