Why not UT? And this is the #1 reason why traffic is FUCKED in San Marcos. Seems sometimes like there are more commuters than permanent residents. I've never come across traffic at all. We have more permanent residents as students, but we have a large number of commuters from Austin. No biggie. It's not like it's far. We even have buses that go from North and South Austin. |

We even have buses that go from North and South Austin. Maybe things have improved since I lived there. I lived on Aquarena just east of the stadium and usually took the bus onto campus (took my bike a lot too, but it really just depended on where my first class was). There was always major traffic backup along Aquarena, then again at LBJ on the loop up to the student center. I think they may have made that bit of LBJ buses-only, though? The big problem there was people driving up and dropping people off. I also heard horror stories from commuters about how bad the parking was. -------------------- |
