normal weight people still live the longest i would venture to say Well, according to the chart, overweight people live longer than normal weight people. But then again, the government's body mass index has been criticized for a while. IIRC, it doesn't take into account whether the body mass is fat or muscle. Thus I would assume that bulkier people who exercise a lot would be more likely to fall into that category. Well, according to the chart, overweight people live longer than normal weight people. That chart says nothing about normal weight.... it only compares overweight to underweight and severely obese. So basically, the chubby kids will live longer than the anorexics and whales.
But then again, the government's body mass index has been criticized for a while. IIRC, it doesn't take into account whether the body mass is fat or muscle.
