So... when you buy one, I find myself more concerned with which brands or features I should steer clear of rather than which are considered "good" or the "best". Anybody well fared to comment on this side of things? I'm looking for a new 19" LCD monitor (probably non-widescreen). Already been looking at newegg and pricewatch, but still uncertain as to what's what. Let's hear it.

definately go widescreen. there's zero reason not to. Not neccessarily. Mainly gaming, I expect. Your thoughts? Go with whatever you like best. I personally would go with a widescreen, but that's just my taste.
