Basically, I'm looking to generate revenue from my website to cover things like advertising, hosting, and possibly to make a little bit of money myself (though I'm pretty sure that won't happen).
Obviously, google adsense is an option. I'm actually running www.convergyssucks.com. My site's been really slow lately so I set up an ad words account with google. To offset the cost of that, I'm going to set up an ad system (users who donate money will have the ads removed though).
If nothing else, the ads will serve as an incentive for people to donate. But it would still be nice to make a little money off of the ads.
